Virtualization deployments vary. Users are at different stages in their implementations—some have been more successful than others and many questions remain. Do more sophisticated users share certain characteristics? Have they deployed a particular set of technologies and processes? Do they report similar challenges when compared with less sophisticated users, or are their problems different? Are their future business, technology, and operational priorities fundamentally different from organizations with less mature virtualization initiatives? The answers to these questions would be extremely useful for helping nascent virtualization users overcome some of their stumbling blocks.
